We think that it might be fun to follow the progress of our new home, the Canvasback Handiranch. This curious title was coined by daughters, Meghan and Meredith, to poke fun at our "no-step entry and wide doorways" - features that are common to senior living. the first view of the pond since the building started...

today we met Todd, a new worker for us.  Does he look as if he enjoys standing in mud that is ankle deep?

the temperatures are warmer..the snow is leaving us--for now.  This is our first view of the pond this year

The doors that were in the garage were installed today and the basement framing was completed.  The roofers come tomorrow--not!  It is too windy to roof.  Everyday there is something new.  Things are moving quickly, and we are eager to visit each day to see what changes have occurred.

    You will enjoy this view for years. Very nice looking everything so far. I can feel your exc itement! The doors are great too.
